1. Identify all the materials
    
2. Refer to the video and identify each of the components in the completed circuit as one of the following:
   • LED (Light Emitting Diode)
   • Resistor (100-400 ohms)
   • Red wire
   • Black wire
   • Breadboard (with red, blue, and black highlights)
   • Arduino Uno board
   • USB cable

If you are completing the LED Circuit and LED Blink activities on different days and students have taken the LED circuit apart, have them complete the LED circuit on their own, using their notes or Thinkabit Lab Notebooks to guide them.

A quick reference is below:

• Red Wire: 5V to Red Row
   
• Black Wire: GND to Black Row
   
• Resistor: Red Row to Blue Row
   
• LED: Long Leg (+) in Blue Row, Short Leg (-) in Black Row

If the LED circuit is incomplete 

1. Refer to the LED Circuit activity to complete the LED Circuit.

If the LED is not turning on

1. Check to ensure that you have properly connected all of the components.
    
2. Check to ensure that the USB cable is connected to both the Arduino and the computer.
    
3. Try using a different LED.
